The .ICO file format was defined and created by the Microsoft corporation, .ico files are widely used in the Windows operating systems include Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, etc. On the desktop of Windows, each application shortcut has an icon in .ico format, the icon can be scale in or out.
